MASTERDEALER.AI

For independent used car dealers

Every enquiry answered in 60 seconds. Even at 9pm on a Sunday.

MasterDealer.ai replies to every AutoTrader and website enquiry the minute it lands, works out whether the buyer is cash or finance, whether they've got a part-ex, and books them in — straight to your diary.

No risk to start: your first week runs quietly — you see every reply before a customer does.

Hi, is the 2019 Golf still available?

Yes it is — 2019 Golf 1.5 TSI GT, £13,490, 41,200 miles with full service history. Are you thinking cash, or would finance be useful?

The problem

The buyer isn't lost. They just went to whoever replied first.

Most enquiries land in the evening, at weekends, or while you're out on the forecourt with someone else. By the time you get to them, they've messaged three other dealers.

Sunday night, as it stands

  • Enquiry lands in your inbox. You're at home.

  • Buyer messages two other dealers.

  • You spot it between opening up and a part-ex.

  • You call. Voicemail.

  • They bought elsewhere on Monday.

One deal gone. You never knew it was close.

Sunday night, with MasterDealer

  • Enquiry lands. Buyer gets a proper answer in 38 seconds.

  • Cash or finance, part-ex, timescale — all established.

  • Tuesday 10:00 booked into your diary.

  • Your phone buzzes once with the details.

  • You shake hands with a buyer who's ready.

You did nothing. You just turned up.

What it does

It works your enquiries like a good salesperson would.

Not a website chat box. It picks up leads wherever they land and texts the buyer directly — the way they actually reply.

Answers in under a minute

AutoTrader, eBay Motors, your website form — every enquiry gets a real answer straight away, day or night, using your actual stock. It never invents a car you haven't got.

Qualifies the buyer

Cash or finance, part-exchange (with reg and mileage), and how soon they're buying. You get the full picture before you spend a minute on them.

Books viewings and test drives

It offers real slots from your opening hours, never double-books, and handles it when someone needs to move or cancel. You just get told.

Chases the quiet ones

If a buyer goes cold, it follows up the next day, then once more a couple of days later — politely, then it leaves them alone. That's deals you'd otherwise never hear from again.

Only buzzes you when it matters

No stream of notifications. Your phone goes off when something's booked, changed, cancelled, or when a customer asks to speak to a human.

Keeps you on the right side of the rules

It never quotes finance figures or negotiates on price — that stays with your team. Every buyer can opt out with one word, as the rules require.

How it starts

You watch it work for a week before a customer ever hears from it.

Nothing changes about how you work. You keep your number, your listings, your process.

A 45-minute setup call

We go through your stock, your opening hours, how you like to talk to customers, and anything you'd never want said. Then we build it around your forecourt.

Week one

A quiet week

It runs on your real enquiries, but every reply comes to your phone instead of the customer. You read what it would have said. We adjust anything that isn't you.

Week one to two

You say go

When you're happy with what you're reading, we switch it on. It starts answering for real, and you start getting bookings. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice.

On typical used car margins, recovering a single deal a month covers the whole thing several times over. Everything after that is profit you were losing to whoever replied first.

Questions dealers ask

The honest answers.

Will my customers know it's not a person?

It says it's an assistant if anyone asks — it won't pretend to be a human. In practice most buyers just want a quick, straight answer about the car, and that's exactly what they get. You'll see a week of real replies before any customer does, so you can judge it yourself.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. You keep your number and everything you do now. MasterDealer works alongside you on a separate line — the text conversation happens there, and you just get told when something's booked.

What if it says something daft to a customer?

It can only talk about the cars actually on your forecourt, and it's built so it can't negotiate on price or quote finance figures — both of those come to you. That's why the first week is quiet: you read everything it would have sent and we tune it before it goes anywhere near a buyer.

What about finance? That's regulated.

Exactly why it won't touch it. It'll note that a buyer wants finance and pass it to your team, but it never quotes APRs, monthly payments or whether someone would be approved. Same with valuing a part-ex — it collects the reg, mileage and condition, and leaves the number to you.

How much work is this for me?

A 45-minute call to set up, and about five minutes to send your lead emails our way. After that, you keep your stock list up to date and we handle the rest. Most dealers hear from it only when something's booked.

How quickly can I be running?

Usually within a few days of the setup call. You'll be in the quiet week almost immediately, and live as soon as you're happy with what you're reading.
